Break your own rules
We all have rules. No more than two coffees. Only exercise in the morning. Go for a run on Sunday.
Whatever they are, they serve a purpose.
Or, served.
And that’s the problem. Some of these rules are outdated. They no longer serve us, but we serve them. We’ve carved out these dominant paths from A to B in our brain and now we can’t follow any other ones.
Disrupt that.
Break a rule once set in place, maybe you’ll discover it expired and is no longer necessary.
